Rings Of Saturn: Band jetzt ohne Frontmann Ian Bearer und komplett instrumental

Im Lager von Rings Of Saturn geht es sichtlich heiß her. Nachdem die Band zuletzt von ihrem Label Nuclear Blast fallengelassen wurde, weil dieses Konseuqenzen aus drohenden Äußerungen von Gitarrist Lucas Mann gezogen hat, folgt jetzt der nächste Hammer.

Wie die Kombo nun wissen lässt, mache man ab sofort ohne Frontmann Ian Bearer weiter. Nach einem Nachfolger werde man dabei aber nicht suchen; ganz im Gegenteil.

Rings Of Saturn sind jetzt eine reine Instrumental-Band

Das Projekt gehe nun einen rein instrumentalen Weg, der der Band „viele neue Türen in Hinblick auf musikalische Kreativität“ öffnen soll. Im O-Ton heiß es weiter:

“Rings Of Saturn is transitioning towards a strictly instrumental direction which will open up many new doors in terms of musical creativity for the bands future. We are looking forward to exploring new territories of writing and expand on the band’s overall sound in this way.

We would like to thank Ian Bearer for his years of hard work and commitment as the voice of the band during its most recent 10 years. On tour and in the studio, it has been an honor to create and perform music alongside such a great vocalist. We absolutely wish him the best in any endeavor he decides to pursue, and we hope that fans show him the same love and support as well. – Joel Omans & Lucas Mann.”

Ihr aktuelles Album „Gidim“ hat die Formation im Oktober 2019 auf den Markt gebracht. Erst im Februar diesen Jahres gab es eine Re-Recorded-Fassung zum Erstling „Embryonic Anomaly“ auf die Lauscher.
