Bury Tomorrow stellen eine Band aus ihren eigenen Fans zusammen

Die Jungs von Bury Tomorrow haben vergangenes Jahr ihr fünftes Studioalbum „Black Flame“ veröffentlicht und sich nun etwas ganz Besonderes dazu einfallen lassen.

Die Band um Frontmann Daniel Winter-Bates hat dazu aufgerufen, Cover-Versionen des Songs „Black Flame“ auf YouTube hochzuladen, um daraus sechs Teilnehmer auszuwählen, mit denen sie ihre eigene kleine Band zusammenstellen wollen.

Bury Tomorrow basteln sich ihre eigene Cover-Band

Jeder der sechs Gewinner soll dann einen Part eines Bandmitglieds von Bury Tomorrow einnehmen und mit der Band selbst in einem Studio üben dürfen.

Bury Tomorrow wollen sich mit der Aktion bei ihren Fans bedanken, ohne die sie nicht da wären, wo sie heute sind.

Weiterhin wollen die sechs Bandmitglieder jungen Musikern gerne die Chance geben, sich weiterzuentwickeln und sich vielleicht sogar hier und da selbst ein paar Tipps abschauen.

„As a band we couldn’t have got to where we are now without you all, and now that we’re onto our fifth album we want to give back to you. We will be hosting an exclusive studio event on the 16th and 17th of May 2019 in London. We will be choosing six people, one person for each role in Bury Tomorrow […] that have uploaded your covers of ‚Black Flame‘ to YouTube to come down to the studio, spend some time with us practicing, performing and learning how to hone your craft even further. We may even pick up some tips from you.“

Die Resonanz bisher schient riesig zu sein, doch Bury Tomorrow können nicht genug bekommen.

Sie rufen weiter dazu auf, ihnen selbstgedrehte Covervideos zukommen zu lassen. Der Link des YouTube-Uploads soll ihnen über die sozialen Netzwerke zugeschickt werden. Im April werden die Gewinner dann von der Band selbst ausgesucht. Also, wer von euch macht mit?

„Continue to upload your covers of Black Flame to YouTube using #BlackFlameBand, so we can watch them all! Be sure to send us links to the covers on social media. We’ll be contacting our chosen covers in April, and announcing shortly after!“

Wer Bury Tomorrow nicht nur mit einem Cover-Video überzeugen will, sondern die Band auch gern live erleben möchte, hat im August beim Reload Festival in Sulingen die Möglichkeit dazu. Hier treten die Briten u.a. neben Hatebreed, While She Sleeps, Sabaton uvm. auf.
